A woman on Reddit said she started questioning everything after a strange night at her best friend Maria’s birthday party left her convinced something may have happened between Maria and her husband. The woman said Maria had been her best friend since college, but their friendship had always carried some uncomfortable history. Maria was outgoing, flirtatious, and used to tease her for having only dated one man — the man who later became her husband. He said Maria laughed too loudly at his jokes, touched his arms and shoulders, complimented his body, and later joined their gym, where she often asked him for help in the weight room.
